  Almost rented here but thankfully the employees made the attempt so difficult that me and my girlfriend were inclined to look somewhere else. But not before we were swindled out of a check of $200 to "hold" the apartment. They only made us aware of a non-refundable $35 fee in the event that we decided not to rent. By difficult I mean they wasted our time on several occasions, first off not keeping to their posted and stated office hours. Not picking up the phone. If they did pick up they passed you off to different people and you never got a straight answer. There is a term for facilities like these and that is SLUMLORDS. In case someone needs more proof than this simply stroll over to the office, get out of the car and look around. If you aren't convinced by this review then surely the broken windows, broken A/C units (covered in duck tape and garbage bags) will convince you. If that doesn't scare you knock on the door and if you manage to speak to a real person they will inform you how you can't even see the apt before move in date. But more than likely they won't even be in the office. Don't blame them id be embarrassed to face people in person too if my facility looked the way it did when we were there. My advice avoid this place at all costs its a waste of time and they are thieves. Dear owner, who ever you may be. Your business is terrible and I find it hilarious how you tried to save face. In the end though someone will read this review and when they get to this part and read about how I talked about the terrible conditions, inability to see the apt I'm renting, broken windows, A/C units covered in duct tape and garbage bags; noone in the office, no answering of the phone, disrespect, and swindling of money. The sad part is they will show up to your office right off of rt 23 in kinnelon NJ and realize everything I've said is true I still win and you look like nothing more than the poor business you are.   I recently needed a place to move to last minute. My first apartment as a matter of fact. Not only was Laura the leasing manager patient with me as my schedule is crazy but she also took the time to answer my non-stop questions and concerns as a first time renter. I was beyond thrilled when I moved in. My apartment was new and beautifully renovated with updated cabinets and carpet. The studio size is bigger than I expected and for being on route 23, I never have an issue with noise or problems. Rent is easy to pay online. The grounds are clean and maintained. Parking is never a problem and everyone I've met is friendly and seem happy with their apartments as well. 23 is one of the most convenient highways to be on, with everything located within a mile and a bus pick up right on front. But we're also upnthe mountain where there's less traffic and away from the chaos from the stores. As of right now, I'm 100% satisfied with my desicion to live at Butler Ridge!
